This is a sampling of my humble folk songs written and recorded during my Everett High School days - over thirty-five years ago. These were originally recorded on a battery operated, 5 inch, open-reel tape recorder dating from 1968 - 1971.In the early 1980's, they were transferred over onto cassettes. For the next 20 years, they laid dormant in a cardboard box tucked away behind a pile of junk down in a damp cellar. I thought it would be fun to share these ancient relics with you.
I have utilized every once of my education and skills to restore, and digitally enhance these recordings. Thankfully, setbacks like tape drag and demagnification can be restored using today's digital sound technology. Compared to the original recordings, the end results are amazing. The voice is now crystal clear.
